About the role

At Glassons our Stockroom Managers are hands-on leaders who help drive the heartbeat of store operations. Working closely with the Store Manager and in-store Visual Merchandiser, this role plays a key part in creating a seamless experience from stockroom to shop floor.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, enjoys creating structure and efficiency and leads with a collaborative and proactive approach. This is a highly operational role with a strong focus on stock flow, organisation, planning and team support.

You'll use a range of operational tools and technology, including RFID systems, reporting dashboards and Power BI insights, to support store performance and maintain smooth day-to-day operations. No two days are the same, so adaptability, strong communication and the ability to prioritise are essential.

This is also a physically active role, suited to someone who enjoys being on their feet, working at pace, and contributing within a dynamic retail environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the day-to-day operations of the stockroom

  • Managing stock flow, replenishment, deliveries and inventory processes

  • Supporting store productivity through planning, organisation and operational routines

  • Using RFID technology, dashboards and reporting tools to support efficiency and performance

  • Collaborating closely with store leadership and VM teams to align on priorities

  • Coaching and supporting team members to maintain operational standards

  • Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient stockroom environment

  • Supporting high-volume trade periods with agility and adaptability

What We're Looking For

  • 2–3 years' experience in stockroom management, retail operations or retail leadership

  • Strong organisational and planning skills

  • Confidence using technology and operational systems

  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • High energy, adaptability and the ability to work in a physically active environment

  • Experience working in fast-paced retail environments is highly regarded
