About the role
At Glassons our Stockroom Managers are hands-on leaders who help drive the heartbeat of store operations. Working closely with the Store Manager and in-store Visual Merchandiser, this role plays a key part in creating a seamless experience from stockroom to shop floor.
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, enjoys creating structure and efficiency and leads with a collaborative and proactive approach. This is a highly operational role with a strong focus on stock flow, organisation, planning and team support.
You'll use a range of operational tools and technology, including RFID systems, reporting dashboards and Power BI insights, to support store performance and maintain smooth day-to-day operations. No two days are the same, so adaptability, strong communication and the ability to prioritise are essential.
This is also a physically active role, suited to someone who enjoys being on their feet, working at pace, and contributing within a dynamic retail environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the day-to-day operations of the stockroom
- Managing stock flow, replenishment, deliveries and inventory processes
- Supporting store productivity through planning, organisation and operational routines
- Using RFID technology, dashboards and reporting tools to support efficiency and performance
- Collaborating closely with store leadership and VM teams to align on priorities
- Coaching and supporting team members to maintain operational standards
- Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient stockroom environment
- Supporting high-volume trade periods with agility and adaptability
What We're Looking For
- 2–3 years' experience in stockroom management, retail operations or retail leadership
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Confidence using technology and operational systems
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- High energy, adaptability and the ability to work in a physically active environment
- Experience working in fast-paced retail environments is highly regarded
